Rawteasers. Raw Malt Snacks.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup dry roasted almonds
  • 1 cup all-bran Original not the flakes, you want the sticks
  • 2 heaped tablespoons malt extract syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • water as needed

Instructions

  • In a food processor, blitz the roasted almonds to a rough crumb
  • Add the bran cereal and blitz again.
  • Add the malt extract.
  • With the processor running, slowly add water until the mixture comes together.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment.
  • Roll the malt mixture in to even sized balls and set in the freezer for 30 minutes to set. The fridge works too but will take longer.
  • Optional - roll the balls in cacao powder or melt dairy free free chocolate over a double boiler and dip each balls. Enjoy.
